Privacy

The OCIA Shelf is run by Terra Pilgrim. This page explains what the site collects and why. We keep as little as we can, and we never sell your information.

Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t follow you to other sites.

We also keep daily totals of a few clicks, such as which summaries and links are opened. These totals store only the day, the kind of click, and the item. They don’t include your internet address, cookies, or anything personal.

Newsletter

If you sign up, we store your email address, the date, and the page you signed up on, in a Cloudflare database. We use your address only to send the newsletter, and we never sell or share it.

To limit spam, we also keep a one-way scrambled form of your internet address, not the address itself.

Reviews

When you send a review, we store your first name, last initial, city, and state, your rating, your review, and the date. Reviews are text only, with no photos. We read every review before it’s published, and only approved reviews appear on the site, showing your first name, last initial, city, and state. To limit spam, we keep a one-way scrambled form of your internet address, not the address itself.

Links to other sites

Book buttons open Amazon, and other links open the resource’s own site. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Our Amazon links are plain links with no affiliate tag.

Removal and questions

To have your email address or review removed, or to ask about your information, write to hello@terrapilgrim.org. We’ll remove it.
